FEATHER TECHNOLOGY • Browning Feather technology uses a high quality alloy rather than steel for the receiver, reducing the weight of an over and under shotgun by about one pound. • Steel components are added to high-wear areas of the alloy receiver to ensure durability. • A steel breech face is dovetailed into the alloy receiver to ensure strength and long wear. • The full-width, steel hinge pin provides maximum strength and endurance. INFLEX® RECOIL PAD • Inflex recoil pads incorporate directional deflection construction that guides the comb down and away from the shooter’s face, reducing felt recoil for greater shooting comfort and allowing faster, more accurate follow-up shots. • The Inflex recoil pads are made from a soft material for the best recoil absorbing performance available. HIGH RIB • Offers increased visibility on target models, meaning the barrels don’t cover up the clay bird. • Improved cooling helps prevent heat waves from distorting visibility. SILVER NITRIDE • Browning shotguns with a silver nitride receiver utilize a proprietary process known as salt bath ferritic nitrocarburizing. • Compared to coating or heat treatment processes, silver nitride offers the advantages of: Excellent cosmetic finish, improved wear resistance, increased fatigue strength and added protection against corrosion. GLOSS BLUED BARRELS • A high-gloss blued finish is applied to most Browning shotgun barrels. • Extremely durable, the beautifully polished finish resists corrosion. FLOATING RIB • The floating rib allows the rib and barrel to expand at different rates and move independently of each other. • The floating rib prevents point of impact shifts caused by the barrel heating. MICRO ANDMICROMIDAS FIREARMS • Micro and Micro Midas firearms feature shorter lengths of pull to give younger and smaller shooters a great fitting firearm with the same quality components and attention to detail as all Browning firearms. • Micro Midas models have the shortest lengths of pull, while Micro models are usually an inch or less longer than Micro Midas models. BROWNING GROWTH INSURANCE PROGRAM • Growth Insurance allows Micro and Micro Midas firearms to grow with the shooter to offer a higher rate of return on their firearm investment. • Micro and Micro Midas models are eligible for the Growth Insurance Program that allows new owners to purchase a full-size stock at 50% off the retail price. STEEL SHOT PERFORMANCE • The strength of Browning barrels is legendary and they are built to handle the punishment of steel shot. Unlike some manufacturers’ barrels that show pitting after shooting steel, Browning pioneered construction that maximizes steel shot performance and barrel durability. • Browning barrels meet the strictest material and construction quality standards. The barrel blanks are made from rolled and tempered steel bars and are stress relieved to offer exceptional mechanical properties. The barrel blanks are then precision drilled, reamed and honed to exacting specifications.
